Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Chacoan Horned Frog aka Cranwell's Horned Frog Ceratophrys cranwelli Many individuals like this one are bright green when young but few retain the vibrant colours into adulthood.
Wow. I've never seen this shade of green on a Cranwell's before. I guess I've only ever seen adults? How rare is it for them to retain such light greens?
As far as I'm aware, it's rare for Cranwell's to retain much green into adulthood and I've never seen another one of this species with that colour, aside from those I saw in tubs beside him when I bought him in 2000.
Do you still have this Cranwelli?
No, I had to give it up when I left in Ireland in 2000.
