Wyoming Toads - Toad Love :)
Interesting toad. I've never seen that species before .
The Wyoming Toad is extinct in the wild. There are several conservation groups, including the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE that established successful captive breeding programs for these toads. Around 7,000 tadpoles have been released in selected ponds in southeastern Wyoming. This past summer, I had an opportunity to work at the zoo's amphibian conservation area. I was responsible for the daily care of these toads as well as other endangered amphibians. Terry
Dylan is now an endangered species. I would love to help repopulate her species but I wouldn't even know how to go about doing that. Mainly since I don't know where to get a male.
