I like your white background and substrate style Johnny. What camera do you use?
I use a cheapo Samsung SL102 in manual program mode. It took a lot of practice to get macro shots to work well. The background is a white cardboard box, folded so the white side is in. I then tape up the exterior with duct tape and remove one side so that it is an "L" shape. Lighting is T8 florescent about a foot and a half above the box. I use a sheet plain white printer paper for each animal as a substrate since it is disposable. For active animals, I made a box of clear plexiglas to put over them and keep them from getting away.
