That woodhousii looks a lot like a cognatus to me - the snout is very blunt. However it's definitely not a full blooded cognatus.
Very well could be...the identification of this specimen has been in doubt from day one. It was collected in the exact same area the cognatus specimens were found. Over on caudata the possibility of hybridization came up, but I am unsure. It is very different looking from the cognatus specimens from the same location.
Well these have been known to hybridize. Coincidentally, I saw what I believe to be a woodhousii x nebulifer hybrid tonight - body of a woodhousii but markings of a nebulifer.
