Awesome pictures John. What camera do you use?
Thank you. It was taken with a Nikon D90.
I knew it! I wanted to get a D90 at work, but was told it was out of our budget
I like to fly my own flag as much as the next guy but in all honesty the camera is just a tool used by the photographer - knowing how to use it, the technique and experience, is what got me this photo, not the camera itself. I could get this image with a Nikon D40 or a Canon 350 Rebel/EOS (not sure if they do that shutter speed with an external flash).
I have a Nikon D3000 and have for about three years now. I love the quality of a Nikon. I want the new Nikon D7000; maybe one day. Your pictures are fantastic, John! This may be a dumb question, can you put a copywright on a picture if you aren't a professional photographer? The reason I ask is that I posted a photo of Mr. Toad on Facebook and it was shared well over 60 times since Easter. It was a picture of Mr. Toad in bunny ears for Easter.
Copyright has nothing to do with whether or not your professional. Putting a copyright message on the photo is letting people know that you own the photograph and the rights to it. If someone uses it without your permission they are breaking copyright law.
