Tadpoles - Leopard Frog

These are my new babies. I couldn't get as good of a shot as I wanted to, but I think I did ok with these pics. Chip is the one that has his spots evenly spread out (body and head) and Cookie is the one that has a cluster of spots on her head that looks kind of like a chocolate chip cookie. Her cluster used to be in a perfect circle. The circle has now started to lose it's shape and is just a close cluster of spots, lol. I really don't know if they are boys or girls, but their names are temporary. If anyone has a name suggestion, I would be open to ideas! Enjoy the pics! : )
  1. Cookie after her morph completion.
  2. Cookie and Chip, even though little Chip can't get out of the water, he tries to stay as close as he can to Cookie.
  3. Duplicate, sorry about that.
  4. Cookie sitting on the side oh her rock and Chip in the corner.
  5. Chip from the side in a glass jar. You can barley see his little legs starting to form at the base of his tail.
  6. Chip and Cookie, if you look closely at Cookie on the right you can see the tympanum forming on her cheek right under her eye. It is the dark circle...
  7. Another pic of Chip and Cookie eating together.
  8. Cookie sitting next to one of the larger stones in her pond. She is almost as big as the stone!
  9. Cookie swimming in a glass jar and looking for algae on the side of the jar. Though there is none there, eating is all she thinks about, lol.
  10. Chip and Cookie about two weeks after I got them. They are eating an algae pellet that has already broken apart. They love doing everything together!...
  11. Cookie from a side view about 2 weeks after I got them. She is already growing well and her little legs are visible not not very big yet.
  12. Chip (left) and Cookie (right) - top view in a glass jar.
  13. Chip (left) and Cookie (right) - front view in a glass jar. In this pic you can tell that Cookie is much larger than Chip, not just in width but in...

  24. Chip in a glass jar - off center front view.
  25. Chip from above in a glass jar - in this pic I wanted to show his crooked tail. It is always like this but usually it is worse than this. :(
  26. Cookie from the top view - I wanted to show off her little legs. They are between a quarter and a half an inch long when extended. SHe likes to flex...
  27. Cookie with some un-shed skin still on her. That's what the clear-ish looking gel is on her sides.
  28. Left side - Cookie
Right side - Chip
They are always together!
I had to separate them with a small, clean, kabob skewer just to get pics of them...
