Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
He sure looks fat and happy! Set-up is even nicer than the first one! I am jealous, lol. I can't get very much to grow in my grey's home. I have a few veining plants but most of them are silk... My light system broke and I have not replaced it yet, but the frogs seem happier with just the sunlight, I think the light system I had was too strong for them as they are temperate and not tropical frogs. I am going to have to find a low heat light with a high output of UV light for the plants so it won't over heat my frogs. What kind of light do you have in place for your two st-ups?
The small setup has only one bulb it is a Komodo compact 2.0 uv light, seems to be working well with almost heat output and the larger tank has the proper Exo terra bulbs one is a uv compact 2.0 but Im not certain about the other now (it takes two bulbs) it is a slightly larger wattage but all my bulbs are recommended for rainforest setups don't give out much heat and the light isn't as harsh as a dessert one would be. I recently had great difficulty with bulbs I wanted the babies to have the best possible light and as my bulbs were old I went to replace all but Exo terra in there wisdom have altered the design of there bulbs and they would not work in the smaller hood I had to order bulbs until I found one which would woke hence the Komodo
