Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Speedy & spunky's enclosure in a 15 gallon, improved.
Love it! Very natural looking. All I think you could improve on is getting a nice background. Oh, and where'd you get those small water plants, the little mini green lily pads? I'm planning to get some for Gnag and Bumpy.
I do not have the toads in this type of setup anymore and have them in a temporary home for a 20 gallon, i grew the duckweed by taking a bunch from a pond and putting it in dechlorinated water, giving it fertalizer and uv light, it will relicate itself every 48 hours.
i am personally a huge fan of duckweed it keeps the water crystal clear and recycles it nicely .I use it a lot in a African clawed frog tank, a 90 gallon i have .When i kept my leopard frogs i also used it .
Lots of fish keepers hate duckweed but i love it! it helps to get rid of nitrates and its food for turtles and fish as well!
