Calling Spring Peeper. I was a little concerned that once I set up my camera gear I'd have a long wait before he got used to me and resume calling. No patience was needed, he started up again almost as soon as I hit the ground, stopped as I gathered my things to leave, then quickly resumed after I had vacated his area.
He's the first calling peeper I've managed to photograph, there seems to be an abundance of them calling on land this year, so hopefully it won't be the last.
