did you get that vine at petco? i wanted to get it for mine but i was affraid to buy it.
Yes I did get that vine at Petco. They liked it but I took it out of their tank when I remodeled it. My bearded dragon loves hers. As she got bigger we had to braid 3 of them together so she could climb it without falling off! She sleeps on it all the time. The only downside of it is if the ends of the branch are open, crickets will climb in and get lost.
ok thanks. i have a few questions., i did have two whites but the one died a few days ago., and i have no idea what cause his death. he would stick his hind legs out and shake and then he got really bloated like a ballon and then passed away, also the one time he layed on his back and stretched his legs out and wouldnt move. But the one i have now im worried he isnt poping, thats why i asked about what poop looks like in water after it disolves. I tryed putting him in warm water he sat in it for like 5 mins then hopped out. Also i bought 50 crickets and mostly all of them died., is there a way to solve this problem? sorry for all the questions, im just worried.
I just answered your question on your post! I also had a frog that died the same way yours did. We never really got an answer as to why it happened. She was one of my first frogs and I didn't know anything about them at the time. It's been a learning experience all the way. Sometimes though, we stress way to much about things and worry about things that aren't really wrong. I've learned that sometimes just sitting back and letting things happen naturally always works for the best. Sometimes my frogs go 2 or 3 days without pooping. And sometimes when I think it's been a long time, I clean the tank and find poop hidden in places I never would have looked. If you use cocofiber substrate and the poop has been sitting there for a day or two, it will dry up and blend right in!
Yeah he was my first frog, i bought him july 1rst and then bought my second one july 5th. yeah i think im stressing such much cause of what happend to my first one. i just love him very much and dont want the same thing to happen to him. i did have some kind of sub,in the tank but i took it out cause he was swallowing the sub,when he ate so now i have something else. i can send pics.

I know. They are very easy to fall in love with. Fiona was one of my first frogs too and I always remember her. I was afraid to get more but I did and so far they've been fairly healthy. Send pics of the substrate. I think cocofiber is the safest substrate because it doesn't cause impaction if they eat it. When my frogs poop, it's mostly cocofiber and little bit of crickets. It's gross that I notice that but I used to obsess over everything LOL!
