    Default 20H Vert Makeover- Pic Heavy

    Here is one of my old vivs that had nothing living in it that I ignored




    I decided to do something different from GS so I went with kitty litter...clay.



    Here is the litter once I added water


    I mixed it real well then started applying it for the background


    Here I am starting to plant it

    Chris, that's a great walk through, and it's good to have you on the site. One question for you - did you make your own screen, and if so, why did you make it so wide? (actually, how wide is the mesh in it?)

    Thanks for the welcome...That is one of Dane's converstion kits...I do make my own though now as mine are drilled at the bottom for easy cleaning .

    I have 8 broms, lots of creeping fig, some hoyas, riccia. Thats its as its a breeder tank and not a display tank...My standards are laying a clutch almost every week. I have had 15 clutchs 10 clutchs in 3 months
