    its like natrual smooth river pebbles that arnt sharp and they dont have jagged edges.

    I wouldn't use any rock unless it is covered with coco-fibre and moss. Kurt may have another opinion on that though. How small are the pebbles? I am concerned that they will be ingested.

    If they are too big to be swallowed then that would be ok, but a bed of rocks is not a natural substrate for a White's treefrog.
