Adding drainage layer to ZooMed 18x18x24 Hi all:
I am thinking about adding a drainage layer with HydroBalls to my ZooMed 18x18x24 terrarium. I'm wondering how many bags of HydroBalls I should buy for this? Eyeballing it, I'm thinking it will take about four bags, but I'm not sure. Has anyone ever done this? How many did you use?

Re: Adding drainage layer to ZooMed 18x18x24 Wow that much? My 12x12x18 only required one bag when I thought it would've need two. I'd probably say 3 at the most. If you want to be safe get 4 and if you have a spare just save it for a future project. That's what I'm doing with the spare bag I got.

4 is to many. I did as you and thought 4 until the water got to it and it raised up above the lower vent.
I would get three and put two in to start. If you don't need the third bag then return it.
