Talking 29 Vert for my clown tree frogs (pic heavy)

These are some pics of a new 29 gallon vert build from scratch with a few new ideas that I thought I would try...I didnt make "build" pictures as its fairly easy and basic .In this one I siliconed coconut tree fiber mats cut into shape to the sides and back of the viv . Then I made small pockets and glued them to the mats by cutting half moon shapes and attatching them to the mats and creating planter pockets or pots of various sizes and siliconed them in. These could also be hot glued or sewn in with fishing line. The wood was siliconed right to the mats also. It has a Leca or Hydroton layer about 2 inches thick, a platform of egg crate that rests on pvc pipe coupling pedestals , covered by weed block mesh and topped off with ABG substate, leaf, tree fern fiber mix that has been seeded with springtails( of which I have many).
Then it was planted with various plants. There is a "bowl" type hide which they love and their fave spot for sleeping of course is the brom about 2/3 up from the floor area . It also has an an acrylic "cricket bowl" and a glass dish "the pool " for their bathing . Live moss covers the floor area and edges of the walls at the moment and I hope to encourage it to cover the wall areas along with the orchids and other plants . The coconut fiber panels make a great growing medium. Sorry pics are not the best more pics to follow soon. Hope ya like it .... the froggies sure do!29 Vert for my clown tree frogs (pic heavy)-frogs-001.jpg

Very nice. What moss did you use on the bottom? I seem to always have the moss slowly die off over time except for some Java Moss I bought at Black Jungle.

Don its a live moss from my area that I harvest when needed since its in a very fertile forested area that has no risk of pesticides or herbicides. It seems to flousih very well in all of my enclosures .....can send you some to try if your interested in paying the postage..just let me know
