    Talking I'm getting a White's Tree Frog

I've been nagging my other half for a tree frog for ages and she's finally caved in!

I'm going to read up as much as I can first of course and I already know where to buy them. The only thing I'm not really sure of is the heating/lighting requirements, so I'm going to do a bit more research. I've read through Kurt's care sheet and I really like the idea of a half aquatic tank for the frog and the possibility of guppies on the lower level, now that sounds like a cool looking viv!

The frogs I've seen for sale are tiny, so looks like I'll be getting some fruit flies!

Congrats!!! I got 2 on thursday They are tiny at the mo, but I am looking forward to watching them grow. I've been told that they don't need UV light as they are nocturnal, mine just have a heat mat under half of the tank which is turned on during the day if it gets a bit nippy. Mine are eating (and enjoying very much!!) very small crickets.
The rainforest type vivs look AMAZING!! When mine are bigger I'm going to try and set one up
Anyhoo, good luck with your froggies!!!!

    Even better!

I have found someone not too far from home that sells captive bred adult White's and babies, I'll be getting them from him rather than a shop. Just have to decide how many I can persuade my other half that I really NEED!

Good luck with your new White's! They are addictive. I started with one and now I have three... Each with their own personality
