Default Is this a green tree frog, or something else?

    Hi all,

New to the forums, I realize I should post in the introductions section but I'm concerned that time is of the essence in this matter. I currently have two fairly large, female green tree frogs at home in a terrarium. I live in Lafayette, Louisiana.

We acquired a third tonight, and were told it was a young green tree frog, but it doesn't quite look right. The skin is bumpy instead of smooth, and the markings under the eyes are slightly different. It's also tiny in comparison, only about an inch - inch and a half long where the other two are well over two inches, if not three.

Could anyone help ID the true type of frog, or maybe correct me if I'm wrong in my assumption?

    Any help is very appreciated.

Thank you! We will be returning him to the shop tomorrow morning, as we don't want to mix species.

Haha, yup! Definitely a gray tree frog. I only know that because they are coming out of my ears up here. I see them all the time out to my boyfriends house. Gray Tree Frogs and Fowlers toads, alllllll the time. Beautiful frogs, really. Hope you get the right frog next time!

    THIS IS SPARTA!!!
