Well the spots are starting to go away and has seems much more active. I tried feeding him today but he didn't wanna eat so I am hoping in the next few days he will want to eat. I am keeping hope.

Okay so I am looking at Fozzie and he now is brown with green spots all over. It looks as if he isn't shedding like he is supposed to. I started looking more into it and I read something about aestivation and I think maybe that is what is happening. When I bought him it was extemely cold outside and all I bought him in was a thin cardboard box with holes all along the side. I think the cold weather put him in a hybernation-like period. I don't know, just thought I would ask your opinion.

When my frogs are changing colour (from brown to green), they develop green spots all over. I think it's just the skin changing colour gradually![]()
Just curious, but how warm is the terrarium at night and how warm during the day? Also, how humid is it?

I keep the humidity around 65-70%, sometimes if I leave to go to work and I come back the humidity drops to about 50% but never any lower than that. I am having trouble keeping the humidity at a steady rate. I mist about 3 times a day. The temp is around 80 or 85 during the day and around 68 at night. Please let me know if there is something I am doing that I should change.
It sounds alright. These frogs don't really "hibernate".

I would say he was sick when you received him.

Sorry you lost it. It wasn't your fault - it was the pet shop. I'm kinda blue in the face seeing this happen.

Thank you. Yeah I was really sad because I tried to do everything I could do. Now I know from your comments and personal experience not to buy animals from PETCO.

Well it was just really hard to see a dead frog.

It could have been a fungal infection. If the frogs were housed together, I'd take the survivor in to the vet, as this is highly contagious.
I had one with spots on the face that I took to the vet and started treating, but he didn't tell me it was so contagious and I did not separate them. The other frog never had any spots, but died suddenly - the vet said he probably had the fungus internally.
