    Hi!
Your frog may be unsocial as it's settling into a new home. Puffing up is it's way of making it's self look bigger and more threatening to any possible predator. White's treefrogs often change colour according to environment and mood, so colour change isn't always a bad sign. Also, they're not very active during the day as they are nocturnal and hunt at night.
Not sure about the spasm, but mine do it when they've just eaten a cricket. It freaked me out a bit when I first saw it.
Hope I've been a little helpful lol

If it's eating that's a good sign. The spasm, can you be a bit more specific? It wouldn't be shedding its skin by any chance? As regards it being nervous, it's probably a wild caught animal and it may require some time to get used to you - not all frogs will. It's never a good idea to buy a wild White's (and you can't trust pet stores who say they have captive bred White's - best to judge by the size of the frog because large White's are pretty much guaranteed wild caught if you see them in a Pet shop).
