    Default To Knot, or not to knot?

    So I had this idea for a tree-frog hiding area/water bowl last night. I was reading on how male amazon milk frogs like to hide out in tree knots, and I was struck with an idea on how to replicate one.

    I've drawn up this handy diagram to explain everything.

    What do y'all think?
