how big are they? I would add food to the list
This is a discussion on american toads within the Toads forums, part of the Frogs & Toads category; any info about american toads i recently aquired two of them today and i have them in a 10 gallon ...
american toads any info about american toads i recently aquired two of them today and i have them in a 10 gallon tank with river rocks covered in about 3 inches of organic topsoil with a waterbowl and a log hut anything else i should have?

Re: american toads yeah i put the other hut i had in today and they burry themselves under the moss usually you just see the eyes
Re: american toads If that is a heat lamp I'd suggest against it. American toads do fine in room tempature. If anything that heat lamp will dry them up far to quickly.

Re: american toads its just a lamp for light since my basement is pretty dark i have not seen them at all today im pretty sure they are burried
