name that toad species....

.....how it all started......

so, while visiting my parents in the Hot Springs area of Arkansas, i caught these toads in my dad's tomato garden (there were TONS of them around) and thus began my obsession with them....i do believe they are just good ol' American Toads, but everyone seems to know what specific kind they have, and i'd like to see if anyone can ID mine for me! i'm wondering how big they will get, i mean, i see some of the pacman frogs on here are just friggin' ginormous, as are some other toads i've seen on here...will mine get to be big guys (or girls, if you can tell me that too that'd rock!) ???

i have 3 total, but the biggest red one likes to stay underground a lot so i don't have any good shots of him (has a super dark throat). anywho, if anyone can let me know what they think they are that'd be great (and why are 2 red and one grey?) ~ thanks in advance!
