Baytril?

This is a discussion on Baytril? within the Toads forums, part of the Frogs & Toads category; I read that Baytril is good for treating amphibians with Red Leg. Is this true?...

    Default Re: Baytril?

I am not sure about treating Red Leg but heres some info I have from Dr Frye about it: Baytril is a strong systemic antibiotic that needs to be mixed carefully. It costs about $24 per ounce and is mixed according to the size of the frog treated. Only a few drops are used daily.

You can probably ask Dr Frye and order the Baytril from him. His email is: Dr.Frye.dvm@sbcglobal.net
Since it is coming up on the weekend he may not see an email until Jan 2nd..... not sure if he reads his email at home.
