    a wild caught southern toad was hurt when i caught him

    well i was outside one day and saw him now hopping right so i caught hina dn put him in the tank. i took him to the vet and they said it was probly somthing to do with mo- nutrition or somthing of that matter, anyway he is fine now and like a toad he should be

    Set-up looks very nice with bromelia flowering! Bruce must be enjoying the bright colors and waiting for bugs to come near it.

    Nice bromeliad......we'll see how long it takes for Bruce to tear it up. The only plant that has survived in my toad tank is a peacock plant and it takes a beating from the toads jumping on it. And yeah for your intervention w/his rescue.

    update::::

    bruce is fully recoverd and is soon to be used as an eco educational animal for wildlife shows in school, on local tv , and at a few resorts in the area, he will be moved to his new encloser next week and then i got a few cuban tree frogs coming which will be my full time pets

    they will also be used as a eco educational animal for shows as a invasive species with my 13 foot berm, and my 6 foot long igwana im shure bruce will be happy in his new 100 gal vivarium with other toads... so say goodbye to bruce people

    That's great to hear! A 100 gal vivarium!? He won't know what to do with all that space!

    yah ive been working on it all week next week sometime is should be ready he has been tagged today for the fish and wildlife commision and i think he will warm up to his other 5 cage mates when its done and i can make it over there with a working cam ill take some pics

    ill probly wind up getting a small family of anoles to be taking care of for a long term project till they are big enough to be used in shows, maybe a year for the larger two and a few years for the smaller 3

    as much as i love frogs and toads my trained specalty its with large cats and lizerds so it will be nicer
    plus,
    the anoles dont need mush deffrent of a viv
    ill need to change the moss and that pritty much it
    i cant wait

    thats in the main building of the zoo place he will be located he will be in there with 5 other toads and 1 cuban tree frog as per regulations of the fwc

    Great for toads, but they will most likely wind up eating the tree frog...

    well for some reson its what the fish and wildlife admin wants they said put him in there with the toads and that in the wild down here they co exist and they wanted the frog and the toads to do so as well in the viv

    but in latest news bruce is sticking with me just a bit longer anyway becase thwe other toads need to be adpted to there inviorment before i move bruce in there

    ok so update::
    bruce is in the new viv.
    i got one week to strip this tanks and get it ready for my two new and permenate pets

    ones a newt and the other is a clawd frog there going to be my permanet pets and i cant wait
