    Default Howdy from Texas!

    Howdy, y'all !
My husband and I live in Magnolia, Texas, and we've been pdf enthusiasts since 2002. We currently own Leucs, Green Sips, Powderblues, Azureus, Blue/bronze Auratus, Intermedius Imitators, Cayo Nancy, and Cobalts. My b/b Auratus are currently breeding like there's no tomorrow, and I just got my sexed Cayo Nancy. My Leucs are also trying to make babies, so we'll see....

My oldest frogs are Fred (Powderblue) and Bertha (Azureus). They've been with us since we first started out, so that makes them at least 8yrs old. They're keepers... Our largest tank is a 150g display tank that we just recently completed; we also have an 80g hex, a 30g cube, a 50g babytank that I call 'the swamp', a 20g and a 29g. Yes, we luvs our frogs.

We also have our 5 dogs (2 Aussies, 3 Papillons), and a couple of cats. We're very critter friendly, so to speak.

This is us in a nutshell, and it's a pleasure to be a member of this board.

    kindest regards,
    kristi

Hey Kristi I'm very happy you decided to join us here. Check out MeTree's thread about his new Cobalt tank. Stanton won our last months contest and that is the person you are helping out. http://www.frogforum.net/general-dis...ted-darts.html As you can see he is very excited and is waiting for his new frog. I hope you continue to visit us here and share your tank and frogs with us. You are a very welcome member to our forum. I'm personally glad you're here. I've PMd you so many times about your frogs I feel like I know you personally,

    Thanks again,

Hyla versicolor is the scientific name for a Gray Tree Frog. My little frog is sitting on my finger, I black and whited the background though LOL Sorry to confuse you!!

I am so glad to meet you, Stanton - this is wonderful!! When I first saw Cheri's post on another board, I thought that she was referring to a town called 'Livingston' in CA. I supposed I just skipped over it the first time, since we're nowhere near there, and YOU, kind sir, are not that far from me. I'm very tickled to help you out with your female cobalt - I have two, so whichever you choose, you can't go wrong. They're ready for a relationship, like, RIGHT NOW, but we don't want to rush things until you get your tank set up and ready to go.

Now, you DO realize that pdfs are highly addicting, right? They come in all kinds of colors, personalities, sizes, and shapes. If you decided that you enjoy your new Cobalts and want to set up another tank with a different morph or species, I'm sure that Cheri or one of us on this fine board can give you some direction.

Congrats, my new friend, and keep in touch!
    kristi

    Honey, I stay that way...

It certainly looks very friendly. Do you know if it's a male or female? My oldest frogs allow me to pick them up, but I rarely do, unless they just insist. You know how frogs can be....

Welcome to Frog Forum, Kristi. I was on the board of a friend last week (Dart Den not to name it) and he was saying, jokingly, that he would be happy to send tree frog traffic towards our site as dart frogs were not our thing....

It's great to have you here!

Few and far between, my dear ~

What cracks me up is some of the folks up north who have to travel thru several states to get to a 'meet'. In Texas, we can travel for hours on end and still not leave the state.

At work, we get visitors from the New England area who just wanna run up the road to Dallas, be back in a few.... it cracks me up.

    TEXAS.....the last poison dart frontier.....
