While he's not a complete baby(about 1 year), He said his first words that I heard. (I may have heard him once but thought it was a floorboard cause I live in an old house)
On friday February 24 2017 I brought Chewie, my Whites tree frog into school. I draped his portable cage with a rag and put him in his tiny cage for the morning. After lunch I decided to bring him out for choice and me and my friends were having fun watching him, putting him on the rag and acting like he had a portable fortress, and even(don't judge) taking pictures of him riding my friends bearded dragon! Then when our choice time was over I brought him out to go to town hall meeting(still in school just a name for a class period). I sat down and was holding him when he started making the most adorable noises! We were so shocked and we thought it was so cute. If you have never heard a White's tree frog/australian green tree frog/dumpy frog calling click on the link below Or if that doesn't work copy and paste it onto your search.

He also recently ate a cricket i put on his head when I put it on his head when he was sticking onto the wall of his cage
Aw, cute. Did he call once or twice in a row or more than that?
Also eating a cricket someone's put on your head takes skill. Heh.
well he was on the wall when he ate it so it was toward his mouth but just a bit above
and he called twice the second one was not as loud.
also here are some pics of him on the bearded dragon
nevermind it says invalid image on all pics i try to upload sorry I forgot
oh and this morning, I fed him crickets in his clear tiny cage and he saw my brother with bacon and kept walking to it and if my brother moved the bacon, chewie would face it. I'm sure I can't feed him bacon but this makes me think, what other stuff could he eat other than crickets?
I wouldn't be too sure the frog was male, just yet. Wait and see if he calls regularly. Sometimes a female frog will chirp a couple of times in a row. But if its throat was bulging out, that was a male calling.
There's something wrong with the pic uploader on this site, you'd have to use photohosting.
Yeah, you shouldn't feed them bacon! High fat isn't a good idea plus all the salt. Frogs are better able to handle lowfat bugs. Some people use pinky mice as a very rare treat, or to help the frogs fatten up before hibernation. (That's only done by people who want to breed and it can be risky no matter how carefully it's done.)
My frogs follow me around sometimes when I walk in front of the tank too.
He was calling the other day a lot when I took him out and his throat was bulging every time and he was doing it for 5-10 minutes
