Hello I am new to pacman frogs and have a few questions. In my vivarium I made, I have ABG substrate from NEHERP at the bottom. Would this be okay for a pacman frog? If not should I just put coco fiber on top of it and would this be okay? Last question can more than one pac man frog live in a vivarium that is 18x18x24?
Thank you for you time.
Hi, I'm not sure about the ABG mix, its just soil is it not? We cant get here were I live so I'm not a 100% sure. But for the housing 2 together the answer would be no, its really not recommended.
Hello and welcome to Frog Forum! I actually wouldn't recommend ABG mix for a Pacman Frog. There are lots of chunks that he/she may swallow and become impacted. If i were you, I wouldn't have ABG mix in there at all; just coco fibre. When the frog digs they will move the ABG mix to the surface and you'll have to remove all of it. Also there can sometimes be sharp pieces that can poke the frog
