Hello!
My name is Evelyn. I am a veterinary technician and I am used to dealing with small mammals not so much amphibians! My boyfriend of 8 years got two African Clawed Frogs about 1.5 years ago. We moved in about 6 months ago after I graduated from UF with my Bachelors. I love these little guys and now that they have joined my animal family I would like to make sure I can give them the best life ever!
Welcome to Frog forum, Evelyn. I believe that ACFs are the coolest frogs on Earth. Been keeping them for over 30 years and learn something new about them every day. One problem with ACFs, some are carriers of chytrid, a fungus that is wiping out frog and salamander populations all over the world. Don't allow your frogs to get away as they can be a hazard to the native amphibians. Other then that, enjoy them! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

“If we can discover the meaning in the trilling of a frog, perhaps we may understand why it is for us not merely noise but a song of poetry and emotion.”
