    Default Firebelly Won't Eat

Hello, I'm worried about my little fire belly named Pickles. He hasn't eaten in 3 weeks.
I've had him for 4 months now, and he was a very aggressive eater.
I live in Canada, and it recently got very cold, I have since relocated him and got him an under tank heater, the temperature in the water is at a stable 23C. I was feeding him small mealmorms and small crickets. He was pooping and eating regularly up until 3 weeks ago, around the time winter rolled in. I keep the tank very clean, with treated water. I have it set up correctly with 1/3 land and 2/3 water, water not too deep as to prevent drowning because I'm aware they are poor swimmers. I don't know what else to do. He was shedding recently and I heard when lizards shed they stop eating I don't know how true that is for frogs. I tried to give him warm baths to reduce an possible constipation but he gave me a scare one day and went completely limp mid-bath, I thought he died. I have since not given him any more warm baths. He's still pretty chubby, no sign of weight loss. And he is very active. Not acting sick at all. No visible sign of infection, no strange smells, just shedding skin which to my knowledge is a healthy activity.

You're conditions are good. 23C is perfect. Some also like a basking spot of 26-27C, could try that.

Could just be winter, mine aren't eating as much either. Are you providing a UVB for a photoperiod and the frogs benefit?

I don't have any additional lighting set up for the frog. I have a daytime blue light but I haven't set it up because I'm not all that confident in my skills of maintaining temperatures and humidity

That's fine they don't absolutely need the basking spot, it's optional

But they do need a day and night cycle about 12 hours light and 12 hours darkness works fine and some UVB for calcium utilisation. A 5% is usually enough. They also are much more active and colourful under good lighting
