Default Pacman burrowed and not eating

My pacman has been burrowed for a couple of weeks. He hasn't been interested in eating either. I uncovered him two weeks ago and he ate 1 nightcrawler then burrowed again somewhere else in the cage. I have no idea where he is now. Is this something to be concerned about? I use coco fibre substrate, have a thermostat keeping the temp around 82 F during the day and 78 F at night.

Hi what heat source are you using and what type of thermometer is being used for monitoring? Are you providing the proper photoperiod or is the light provided by natural light from the window? Natural light won't work at this time of year as the hours are probably too short and could lead to inactivity, if it's that

    Sorry for the late reply.
It has been getting colder like between 40-50 F. I use a 60 watt red heating bulb in a flukers heat lamp with exo terra thermostat. I have a monsoon mister to keep it hydrated. I am using natural light. What can I use for light in my tank?

How old is your frog? If hes older then a year and everything was normal till this occurred and nothing has changed, he might feel the pressures in the air dropping and be trying to estivate. Sometimes they will do this even though we keep temps and stuff the same. I would try to just up your temp a bit and see what happens. Sometimes it doesn't matter what we do, there natural instincts kick in and they go to sleep anyway.
