Just a quick question; do White's/Dumpy tree frogs only have one type of call? Mine regularly call through the night but when i sprayed the tank just now and passed across one of the frogs, he let out 2 croaks that sounded VERY different to the normal calls.
It was quite a sharp brief noise, almost like peeling a bath mat off the bottom the tub after a shower...
Is it maybe a distress/warning call because the water (mist) hit him directly? Never heard it before and can't find anything online!
I think that sounds like a distress call. Just a very quick "WAK" or "WAKWAK!" sound? The spray probably surprised him. Mine do that when the other frog sits on them.
