I'm looking at two items for water treatment.
Now I already use Tetra AquaSafe or Zoo Med ReptiSafe as just a dechlorinator/ammonia reducer, but these other water treatments seem to have many additional benefits.
However I am not sure they are safe for pacman frogs or frogs in general (I have a ceratophrys aurita).
The items in question are on amazon & made by KORDON.
First item -
OASIS #39744 Tidy Turtle-Water Quality Control for Aquarium

Second item -
KORDON #39666 Freshwater Tidy Tank-Sludge Eradicator for Aquarium
Link - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00061URSI/
Anyone have any experience using these?
I have a feeling they'll be alright, but honestly that is just a guess, I'd like someone who knows more about the subject to advise me.
I dont have experience with Kordon products but I do have experience with tetra aquasafe and safestart.
Regarding aquasafe its best to buy the pond version, the bottle is green rather than yellow. This version lasts a hell of a lot longer than the aquarium version as you use far less, great dechlorinator.
Tetra safestart I have always used when adding fish to my tanks, basically bacteria in a bottle.
I keep a spare bottle for any mini cycles or if I do larger than normal water changes.
They are looking for people that have used kordon products with there frogs kmac you need to leave.
Ive used kordon amquel numerous times with good results....BUT seachem prime is much cheaper and concentrated.
I've used it on c/a cichlids for years and know plenty of stingray keepers that use it. If its good enough for a stingray it's good enough for dang near anything
Do they sell REPTISAFE in the United Kingdom? I have used it for FROG ever since I got him in December 2013.
Yeah dood Zoomed range
