Hello,
What are peoples thoughts on dubia roaches as a staple for RETF's?
How much would you feed the frogs on?
Thanks,
I think they get kind of big for those frogs. Okay if you have a large population and there are always juvaniles/babies.
As far as quantity I'm not an expert on red-eyes so I'm not sure.
Turkestan roaches or lobster roaches would be better. Dubias are not only big, but they don't move around much and tend to hide in the substrate.
Doods was feeding my 2 RETFs crickets, but since ive introduced these types of roaches @ 6-9mm they are
Eaten very quickly, so my plan is to feed thise size of roach nut need to know its ok
I hate using mobiles on forums I will try the suggested but what I was trying to say above after a bottle of wine is everytime I put the roaches in and im feeding 5-9mm they are getting wiped out
Last night was another night the roaches have been devoured and nothing left I put 6 in the feeding tub.
So as long as its the correct size of roaches being fed do you think they are healthier than crickets?
There must be more animal proteins at least?
Insects are on bug grub with added arkvits for calcium etc
