I got a new pacman this past Friday, and since then he has only eaten one large cricket from me. I understand they should probably be fed about every other day. I attempted to feed him today with more crickets with my tongs but I got no response. Temp at the top of the substrate is around 85 and gets hotter as he burrows down. Humidity ranges from 60-80%. Does anyone know why he wouldn't be eating/ how I can get him to start eating? Thanks!
I'm in the same boat...brought him home yesterday and he ate 1.5 nightcrawlers. I tried again today and he only ate 1 piece. I think they have to adjust to their new environment, so I wouldn't be worried if I were you.
Your frogs are just adjusting to there new homes, keep trying and he should eventually eat. Keep your humidity around the same percentage through out the day, big fluctuations in the heat and humidity can throw them off. Keep your heat around the 82f mark.
