Hey everyone,
I have 2 African dwarf frogs in my community tank for the past 4 months. Today I noticed one of my frogs has a large white cottony growth in her back. At first I thought it was a blister but when looking at it closer it looks furry. Only one frog has this growth but I'm quarentining them in my 5 gallon tomorrow and going to start treatment. But my question is what drug do I use ? Any help would be great. Will try to upload picture but I'm on my phone.
I've heard Maracyn works wonders as well as a bit of salt. However, don't be surprised if your frogs die almost instantly. My ADF whom I'm had for about 6-8 months now just got the dreaded fungus two days ago and passed today. His tank mate is showing signs now too. It's basically ich but in frogs not fish.
