I got my baby wtfs the night before last and this morning when I got off I sprayed the tank, they were both fine all green and hopping around. I tried feeding them night crawlers by tongs and they were uninterested. Then I found a poo on the glass door. I looked at it a little harder and it was moss which was what they wereally housed on in the store. Then one of the little guys started walking from the front of the glass back towards the back a few inches then back up. He was rubbing his nose and pushing on the glass.be did this for a few minutes and turned his pink color then stopped. I already had most of the sides covered except for a about 5 inches on each side so I covered up the rest. My Temps have been about 79 day and 76ish at night. Humidity levels have went up and down because I can't seem to keep them up. I want these little guys to be happy so any advice you can give will be appreciated. Here's my setup, I have two bowls of water and their water dish. Don't know what else I can do about the humidity. I'm having to spray it several times a day. I'm going to get live plants as soon as I can.
Pic was taken a few minutes after the incident
Good possibility of stress in a new enviroment. Are the sides closed in/covered? One of the more regular types will pop up the usual questions for you. Is it the little guy in the top corner? A better pic of the culprit/ and a good one of its nose will help.
It's the one on the leaf below the guy in the corner. They haven't eaten for me yet. I use bottled spring water, they are in an 18x18x25 tank. He has one tank mate, he doesn't have any scratches or anything like that on his nose. Tank heated with two 75 watt night bulbs at night (it gets pretty cold in my house at night). Can't remember what kind of bulb I use during day, I got it a long time ago. I think I have answered all the trouble in inclosure questions
I use a repti fogger and it keeps the humidity up BUT I have to turn it on and off through out the day. And it has a dial on it but it doesn't seem to make a difference if it's on max or min it puts out alot of fog. Probably not too helpful but it does keep the humidity up way better than spraying manually A mister on a timer sounds like a dream
