Talking PCF Number 7 is BACK! :D

The leaf hoppers are back in force, and with them I have seen the first Pacific chorus frog of the year show up on the drain pipe to chow down on them. I actually saw this same frog, briefly, a couple weeks or so ago, and then nothing until tonight. I thought this froggle looked familiar, so I compared the pics I took tonight with the pics I had of the frogs that showed up last year... sure enough, this frog is the one dubbed "#7" from last year! He was easy to tell from his (or rather seems to be a her) markings, especially one on the right side that looks like two conjoined link sausages, lol. I hope that #7's other friends will show up too! The breeding season started super early this year, and we had hundreds of these guys calling for months, so I hope the tadpole season was super successful and even more PCFs will show up to our outdoor micro-eco habitat this year.

    Mom to these fine frogs!

Cool! Although, I call the stripes down frogs face "sideburns". I don't know why, but if you see it, you can't go back from it looking like sideburns
