Here's a nice tutorial on identifying tadpoles. Not sure where you are located, but it has several common tadpoles listed. As adults, bullfrogs have a ridge that starts behind the eye and runs down behind the tympanic membrane, ending near the corner of the mouth. I'm not sure what age it develops, though. Look at pics here to compare adults. Good luck, hope that helps.

it's a bullfrog for sure. lacks a full lateral ridge that is seen in leopard frogs and green frogs.

Definitely a bullfrog. If you plan on keeping it, Buy it a 150 gallon tank. Bullfrogs are large and powerful jumpers. If kept in anything smaller, they will jump around and get nose rub, which will sign them up for infections, and diseases.

It's true... Bullies need a ton of space to be happy and healthy. You could put in an outdoor pond?

It's a lot of tank but they're so worth it. Bullies are quite an entertaining frog to have in the house, both to watch eat, and their very loud croak. One of the few reasons I adore tree frogs just a smidge more. But I adored the bullfrogs in the pond just past my window growing up in Kentucky. And catching then raising leopard frog taddies.
