Albino Differences?

ok this may seem to be a silly question, but better safe than sorry. Are there any care differences or sensitivities that I should know?

If I do decide to get another pac man I would really like an albino from a local breeder, but I want to be sure I am prepared for what that means. I did poke around a bit but mostly found people introducing their albinos.

There is no huge difference in care between regulars and albinos. However, a UVB/UVA bulb may not be used as it will damage their eyes. Just be careful with the lighting and you'll be fine

General rule.... The further from the mother nature the closer to a doctor

albinos are sensitive to any light, but uvb are damaging the most. So absolutely no to uvb and only very dim light otherwise.

Well the plan was a ceramic heat emitter and ambient light no lighting specifically on its tank.

I know what you mean about closer to nature being better but I can not help being drawn to them. Usually I would not get albino animals ( eye problems, sun burns etc) But I thought it may be less risky with a pac man.

Then you should figure out temps as we discussed earlier and go for it

I am still not 100% I will get another frog, but next week I will be getting all supplies and setting up the tank soon and monitoring temps etc.
