This is the first time I've seen this. One of my two ADFs is at the surface of the tank with his nose poked out and his belly is against the glass, so I can see his throat sort of vibrating. I found a video on youtube. At about a minute in you see a frog doing exactly what my frog is doing. He's not making any noise like singing, btw.

Is he ok? Is this mating behavior? I'm not sure what gender either of my frogs are.
Edit: He changed position but remained at the surface, so I went over to him and while moving some surface plants out of the way so I could see him, he climbed right onto my hand. When I tried putting him down, he climbed further onto my hand which is very unusual, so I moved him to an established 3 gallon that I just moved a betta out of and hadn't broken down yet. I have the temperature and ph exactly the same in both tanks, so he should be fine. Still strange behavior for him though. Any advice would be super great!
Unless it ate something/choking on something or got a pebble in its throat, i think that is just normal throat movement.
