I have 2 Southern Bell frogs Yoshi the larger darker one and Yoda small and green. Im trying to find out what sexes they are.
I know that females are meant to be larger than the males, which makes me think that Yoshi is female, but is there any other way to tell?
They were tadpoles last Christmas so still quite young.
Based on size alone, looks like a male/female pair. Any calling? The males will call.

2.2.0 Agalychnis callidryas "Red Eyed Tree Frogs"
0.0.3 Dendrobates auratus "Turquoise and Bronze"

I have only heard them call once, but I am not sure which once it was, as it was 5am and I wasn't prepared to get out of bed to look.
Yeah, I don't have any experience with southern bell frogs myself, but by size alone, they look male and female. Clearly you have at least one male if you've heard calling.

Hi,i have 5 of these fellas as i live in Hawkes Bay and they look like a pair but another way is oftenthe male has a bit of a yellowish colour on his throat-also when mating u can tell they should start at this time of year and the male is atop the female.
I have 5 green & golden bells. I was once told that the males will have a bright blue colour on the inside of their legs.
