Hi!! I'm new, first post. How would I keep humidity in the tank? I spray the tank 4+ times a day. Also, what can the toads eat? I feed them crickets, red wrigglers, and I also dust their food with calcium. Thanks for the help you guys!
Hello!! Welcome to the frog forum !!
The humidity shouldn't have to be too high as long as their is a water bowl. Just keep misting
Red wrigglers are bad tasting to the frog. They arent dangerous, just dont be surprised if they spit the worm out.
Dust the food with calcium as well as mulitvitamins. Not on the same days and calcium more often

Thanks for the reply. Oh. I thought the humidity was supposed to be at like 70-80 percent. I didn't know the red wrigglers were bad tasting, poor things! Can they eat anything besides crickets than?
Small dubia roaches. Any food that is the same size or smaller than the space between the eyes. Keep away from waxworms, mealworms, superworms, hornworms, and phoenix worms. Night crawlers are also a good food, they must be cut up though. You must also make sure they are dye and chemical free

Wow!! Thanks so much for the help. I want to make my fire bellied toads as happy as possible. Looking to get one or possibly two more. Thanks again!!
Well, I fed my fire bellied toads yesterday and included large crickets
The toads then spit the large crickets out half eaten a few mins later, so I stick to the space between the eyes rule
Its pretty much just an accepted rule throughout the community. Frogs cannot chew and must swallow their food whole. If the food is too big, it can become stuck in their throat, causing discomfort or even choking. In fact, its funny that you mentioned that. My whites tree frog had an incident today with a night crawler that i did not cut small enough.
