I use Repashy Calcium Plus to dust my feeders. It has both Calcium and Vitamins.

I use Rep-cal ultrafine calcium w/ vitamin D3 and Rep-cal Herptivite (vitamins). So long as you give your frog the proper calcium and vitamins you should be all set.

Repta Boost is a crictical care food for malnourished and sick reptiles and amphibians, but is ok to use as an extra nutritional supplement.

I was just reading a thread about large pet stores and some one said they had a pacman frog that they got from one. I have a pacman frog that 's not eating well and according to this person he started giving the frog vitamin A and the frog started eating again. why was lack of vit. A keeping frog from eating normally? Thanks Lanny

    Hi lanny,

a deficiency in any nutrient can cause abnormal behaviors in frogs including not eating. Vitamin A is not common in the foods that the pacman frog was getting at the pet store. I know that in dart frogs vitamin a stimulates breeding and feeding so the same is probably true of pacman frogs. Vitamin A as well as many other essential nutrients that your frog needs can be found in many powder supplements including Repashy Calcium Plus and Repashy Multivitamin supplement.

how long have you had your frog? Keep in mind that it often takes a week or two for pacmans to adjust to new environments and become comfortable eating.

Also you'll probably get more responses by creating a new thread rather than posting in an old one.

    hope this helps!

So far I've only used Rep-Cal's assorted items, I'll probably test another brand after, although it works great for me. I have Calcium (with d3 and without), and a multivitamin. Honestly, most frogs aren't too picky. My pacman frog is my most picky, and he eats with or without dust, no problem, as do my tree frogs and toads. I think it'll be fine.
You might want to make a new thread asking about brand comparisons and experiences, and maybe availability.
