Hi all,
I was planting a few flowers in my backyard when, all the sudden, I found a toad in hibernation inside the soil.
The toad seems to be a Bufo Bufo Spinosus in pretty good shape.
I was counting to plant some flowers in that terrain so I was wondering if it's possible to move the toad to another spot?
Right now the temperature here is about 18 °C / 64 °F with humidity of about 86% and there's still sun sometimes.
I absolutely don't want to injure the toad so please don't hesitate to let me know if that's a bad idea.
Looking forward to your replies!
Thanks
Maybe the toad will move itself to another spot, now that you have found it.
I see no reason why you couldn't move him, Id cup my hands up under him and try to find a similar area that he would be happy and that you wont be disturbing.
Hi there, a little update on the fact.
I went to check out the toad and I noticed, as Flying Dutchman thought, that the toad had moved to another spot on its own
Thanks for your replies!
