Alright things are rolling now. Going to go mostly aquatic and ditch the water feature. Little corner area of land for hunting. I wanna go heavy on aquatic plants but not sure if the land area will allow for much planting.

Can number 2 done. Need one more to finish up the substrate wall, attach the cork tube, and extend the protrusion below the mopani a bit further forward.

Finished up spraying foam the other day. Now to start carving and trimming. Decided to wait on adding the cork until after I'm done sealing everything up. Figured it would be a pain to work around it

Alright about ready to start sealing but torn on what I want to use... was planning on titbond 3 and coco for the upper most areas that wont be in contact with water. Then brown silicone for the rest with some coco in some places.
But ive been debating if 2 part epoxy would be better...but of course that means having to paint the background and im not so artistic.
Also having trouble thinking up a good way to hide my filter...but im not too worried about that yet. Worst case scenario you can see my filter =p

You can use the tb/coco all the way into the water. Titebond is waterproof, after all. Unless you are going for a different look. Also, keep in mind that you can tint the tb with acrylic craft paint

Or you could do what Bill recommended me to do: use drylok and acrylic pain. Very natural, very cheap, very easy, and it's completely waterproof

Yeah, you could do that too. Really? I recommended that? That's a pretty good idea and unlike me to have one of those lol
