Sounds neurological. When you are writing a post you will see an icon in the tool bar for the tyoing field that looks like a picture in a frame. If you click on that icon it will give you options for uploading a picture directly into the typing field.

Do post some detailed pictures of the frog.

sounds like he has some nerve damage
perhaps from an overly rough mating attempt

Don't now, but is it possible this frog is writhing from the pain caused by an intestinal blockage?
    Like a bad stomach ache?

Spinning in circles is attributed to Neurological problems. It may be too severe to fix.

My African bullfrog does this once in awhile as well... It seems to be after he eats a large meal or passes a large stool.

Perhaps this is similar? How much did you feed your frog last, and when was this?

That is possible, but from the picture I can't see anything wrong.

It would appear that a combination of genetic susceptibility (from the parents) and an environmental trigger is necessary for development of SLS. Thus tadpoles from some pairs of frogs but not others may develop SLS under certain conditions, and a particular pair of frogs may produce tadpoles with SLS at some times but not at others. The only way to find a "cure" for SLS is to find and eliminate the cause(s), something which is not easy to do. Where Whites Tree Frogs are concerned, this is a condition where froglets metamorphose with weak and/or deformed front legs. One or both front legs may be affected. Affected limbs are thinner than healthy front legs, may fail to support the weight of the froglet or may be held stiffly at odd angles. The cause(s) of SLS are not known. It is probable that there are several conditions which give rise to this outcome, including:

    Parental frog genetics
    Parental frog nutrition
    Tadpole rearing conditions/nutrition

This would support the weight regarding 'spinning'; not moving correctly; swift rotation and off-balance. Your Frog can still lead a very long, active life however care must be taken. Special requirements like cage furnishing must be accessible, low perches, easy bathing and absolutely zero communal contact as we have so much to learn about genetic susceptibility.

I raise this point so often but genetic interbreeding and 'bad' blood lines could be just one of the causes. Whites Tree Frog in captivity where first introduced into the US pet trade in the early 80's. The original bloods came from Indonesia, a huge misconception as many claim or even believe that they have true Australian blood lines. This is simply false information and needs to be ironed out. Australia put a ban on all fauna that resides within the AU territory and surrounding islands. The only True Whites that can be found 'legally' are ones within zoological and educational institutes. It would be fare to say that 99.999% of all CB, LTC and WC Litoria caerulea originate from the South Pacific.
