Hi guys

I wanna add some permanent live greens to my guys tanks (terrestrial toads off various kinds, but all from similar, temperate climates). The substrate here is unfertilized sphagnum, and is removed and changed with a new round every 3-4 weeks.

I'd like to find a good ground-covering plant, preferably fern, that can take a good hold in the soil and can be removed and replaced in bundles, if possible, so the guys can have some permanent, natural greens.

The main problem with the toads are that they rummage around and often pee/drug/crush plants to death here lol expect for really big ferns, but those'll have to wait until a get one big, giant tank again.

Any suggestions? Or recommendations of another good plant to use? The climate isn't tropical, but more like a northern, humid forest.
