Hi guys.

Yesterday I went to an expo and fell in love with two male Amietophrynus regularis (square-marked toads/African toads). It's the first time I've bought anything wildcaught and I went to the absolute limit, asking the seller everything I could think of.

Aside from being slightly underwheight, they look fine and act allright - ofcourse a bit scared now and just getting used to the enclose, day one.

I wanted to know if anyone has any additional advice I might be able to use, to help settle them in?

What I've done so far is place them in the least trafficked area in my appartment, given them a nice, deep cave (which they use) and arranged their enclose pr. appropriate careguides. They water is changed daily and very close to their entrance I've left a dish with some mealworms (to give them something to eat, while they settle in) that I change each day.

So far no mealworms eaten. Today I also placed a cover in the side where their entrance to their cave is. It was already in pretty good cover, but now it's much darker and "safer".

No mealworms eaten so far and I don't think they've ventured out of the cave at night to investigate. Any advise or experience that might help us out?
