Hi everyone! As my title says, I really need some help finding the best frog or toad that suits my needs/wants. My main request is that the frog or toad be diurnal, because I would really love to be able to see some activity in the enclosure. I believe that right there limits most of the species that I could keep. I would also prefer a frog or toad that is larger and tolerates handling. Those requests aren't as important as the frog being diurnal though. I also would rather not have any form of aquatic area, meaning I do NOT want fire-bellied toads. I have done a lot of research on frogs and toads and which ones would fit my requests, but there does not seem to be any frog or toad that fits the description. White's tree frogs would be great for handling and being large, but they are diurnal, I believe, and do not do very much. Poison dart frogs are awesome, but they are so small and do not tolerate any handling. So, if someone could help me find a toad or frog that fits the description that would be great, or maybe my wishes are too unrealistic. FYI, I would also love the longest living frog or toad you can find, because I like animals that live long! Oh, and I also love the look of milk frogs, but they are nocturnal and apparently very loud, and the enclosure would be in my room!
Thanks,
Josh
