I think it is great that you have this guy and he is doing so well. In the wild, he would certainly have a tough time surviving, even with his natural defenses...

Yeah he would most likely not make it to adult hood in the wild. I can tell he has a hard time digging into the substrate with his back legs and he ant as fast as my other toad at eating but he eats every day easily. My other toad eats WAYYYYYYYY more tho. he. Will eat like 10 to 15 crickets apposed to pirates 3 or 4 crickets at a time at most. I can't wait till they get the side of my head aha.

I hate to break this to you but those aren't Sonoran Desert Toads. They look like Great Plains Toads (Bufo cognatus).

Really? How can u tell? In the pi@tires I seen the baby colorados they have red spots on them. The big one has red spots and the one leg is super green like u see the big colorados.

I agree with John -- Sonoran Desert toads aren't patterned like that. At first glance, Sonorans look to be solid greenish-gray; at closer inspection, you'll notice some copper-colored bumps on them, but not enough to make a pattern. Your toads are really pretty -- he's lucky you rescued him ;-)

Both frogs in that picture are Great Plains Toads. You should get hold of a field guide.

I'm not sure of the origin of your Toads... I was in Arizona last weekend photographing herps and found a few 3-legged toads. One was a freshly morphed retiformis and the other was an old punctatus. My guess is that this is caused by predation of other tadpoles. When the spawning pools begin to dry up, the saturation of tadpoles can be extreme. I did find a few Anaxyrus cognatus hopping around there if yours is wild-caught, I wonder if this is how he lost a foot... Beautiful toads! :0)
