click on the photo to see some of the distances i have heard litoria ewingi call, which were rare calls to hear, also i have marked out some raniformis hot spots
this photo shows the spot 836 odd metres from the nearest pond where i once heard a brown tree frog call, you rarely if even ever unless you listen very carefully for a long time will hear an ewingi call anywhere in this forest.
here is two photos that show what type of dry pineneedly foliage is around this area, its quite dry and theres pine needles everywhere not much ground cover
